Your gift today will go towards:

• Organizing a minimum of 3 beach cleanups a month decreasing the amount of trash that washes into the ocean. Cleanups will peak in September with our Annual Coastal Cleanup Day where over 3000 volunteers clean 45 sites on land and in the waters of Santa Cruz County.

• Funding 400 boat kits containing information and items that help boaters prevent oil spills in the Monterey Bay's 4 harbors.

• Bringing fun and active presentations to local classrooms that teach students how an individual's actions on land directly affect the health of the Monterey Bay and oceans beyond. Our presentations also reach adults in various ways and help decrease the amount of trash and oil floating in our oceans -- ensuring the health of otters, seabirds, and fish.
