Spray painting our streets...

Save Our Shores, in partnership with Santa Cruz County, organizes storm drain stenciling events.  Storm drain marking is a hands-on way for volunteers who are interested in educating the public about pollution to get involved.  Labeling our City storm drains with a "No Dumping- Drains to Bay" label, is an effective reminder to community members that dumping substances down the drain is not a good disposal method, as anything that washes down, such as used motor oil, lawn fertilizers, and paints, will drain into our Bay.
