2008 Toast to the Coast Celebration

Save Our Shores is celebrating our 30 years of marine conservation!
We will be commemorating this year by hosting a magnificent fundraising event called the Toast to the Coast on August 9th at the Cocoanut Grove. At this grand event we will be honoring Julie Packard and Leon Panetta, whose dedicated leadership and support have raised global standards in marine conservation. We will be presenting these two honorable members of our community with our first ever Packard-Panetta Ocean Protection Award. Additionally, we will have a cocktail hour with a view of the sunset over the ocean, a delicious buffet dinner, a slide show and brief overview of the history of Save Our Shores and what we are currently working on, a revealing of our brand new logo, a live auction, and following the program, dancing to live music by SambaDa!

When: 6 p.m. August 9th
Where: Cocoanut Grove, Santa Cruz, CA (next to the beach boardwalk)
